The Parking Office is responsible for the management of University car parks and the allocation of parking permits. *Important information about parking charges from 1 January 2025 onwards* Parking Charges will increase in some areas in 2025. The cost of a Permit has not increased in a decade, meanwhile the costs of using public transport has increased year on year. As well as being out of line with the Council’s parking policy, and the market rate for private car parking, our permit charges are significantly cheaper than public transport. To support and align with the CMP and to support the University’s climate commitments, staged permit charge increases will be implemented to 2030.
