In order to park in a University car park you must purchase a valid permit. There are a variety of different permit types available and the type determines the car parks you may park in. All University car parks have appropriate signage at the entrances to confirm it is a University parking area. All on-street parking is controlled by the City of Edinburgh Council, by either a pay-and-display or residents' permit system.
